Every Article is Written by Me
Every article published on this website is researched and written entirely by me.
I don’t use AI to write paragraphs, rewrite articles, or generate opinions. Every idea, argument, explanation, and conclusion comes from my own research and writing. I don’t have a partner either.
My goal is simple: publish work that reflects my own thinking and understanding.
AI Usage
As I mentioned, AI is never used to write the content of my articles or form my opinions. However, I may occasionally use AI for tasks that are not part of the writing itself, including generating images.
Research Process
Every article begins with research, not writing.
Before I start drafting, I spend time reading books, academic papers, official reports, historical documents, and articles from reputable news organizations. I also compare different viewpoints and, whenever possible, rely on primary sources instead of summaries.
During my research, I collect notes, build timelines, verify important facts, and look for context that helps explain not just what happened, but why it happened.
Only after I have a solid understanding of the topic do I begin writing. Once the first draft is complete, I review it several times for accuracy, clarity, and readability before publishing.
Because of this process, new articles may take days or even weeks to complete. I believe careful research and thoughtful writing are more valuable than publishing quickly.
Independence
MustafaExplains is an independent publication. I am not affiliated with any government, political party, organization, think tank, or advocacy group.
My articles represent my own analysis (including generally accepted views) and should not be interpreted as endorsements of any political ideology or movement.
Purpose
The purpose of this blog is education. I write to help readers understand history and current events through research and context. My goal is to encourage curiosity, thoughtful discussion, and critical thinking rather than persuade readers to adopt a particular political position.
Apart from that, I also concur that (at least for now) I mostly write merely because it is my hobby.
Why I Publish Slowly
New articles may not appear every week.
I’m currently a student, and this website is a personal hobby. Every article requires many hours, and often many days, of reading, note-taking, fact-checking, writing, and editing.
I’d rather publish one article I’m proud of than several rushed ones.
Corrections
If I discover a factual error in one of my articles, I’ll correct it as soon as possible. Accuracy matters more than being right.

Sources
Whenever possible, I rely on primary sources, official reports, academic research, reputable books, and established news organizations. I try to avoid repeating claims that cannot be verified. Furthermore, I always link to the sources.

I created Mustafa Explains because I genuinely enjoy studying history and geopolitics. I have no deadline to chase, no publisher to satisfy, and no pressure to produce content every day, because this is just my hobby project.
My promise is simple:
